Thanks. I heard from another person that AT&T and T-mobile use
different bands for 3G. In any case, I can post this config for
getting to the Edge network. I live in the San Francisco bay area, not
sure if the config is going to be different someplace else (was able
to get into Edge in DC & NYC as well no trouble).

APN Name: ATT
APN: wap.cingular
Username: [email protected]
Password:CINGULAR1
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com:80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410

rest all are blank.
