I am excited about the possibility for change. The market app is very limited, sorting needs work and finding apps is tedious and error- prone.
But don't get your hopes up too much - if they are just in the hiring process now, it could be a while before we see any real change. It can take a month or two to hire someone, a month to ramp them up & start talking requirements, then who knows how long to implement any proposed changes. Depends on how good their process is, how motivated the hiring manager is.
