Hello,

I am trying to perform a simple experiment, where in I run a memset in
a loop and profile it across the memset for a C program.

I have these results from the experiments,
* Time taken to memset a 5 MB buffer is around 9ms
* In a burst for 6 or 7 iterations I can see the memset taking around
120ms
* This can be reporduced only if you run it in a loop for a very large
count, 5000 and above.

Has anybody faced or seen such a issue? Could you me any clues as to
who might be interupting my application with such a huge quatum time
value? (6 to 7 iterations of 120 ms)

Any help is appreciated.
