Hi again, I went ahead and resubmitted my application for the ADC2 contest.
To do this I had to remove the 'draft' listing from the android market site, then upload and submit again in the ADC2 submission site - ... Your registration for the Android Developer Challenge 2 is complete! Before trying again this second time I turned on 'keep cookies' in my FF browser.
