so i know that you most probably need some expensive equipment in order to make a sonar, or anything that would imitate ecolocation. but since we dont have that, and wont be getting it anytime soon, why not create an application that would fake sonar.
basically have the phone emit sonar bleeps, or bat-like clicks, and then use the camera to record whatever is happening. but display it the way daredevil sees. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpOcO08dHvo at 0:28.
