Thanks Sean. We're running the service just from advertising revenue and from developing customised versions for OEMs, carriers, and hardware vendors.
As we see it if developers can make decent money from their apps they'll make more apps and (hopefully) list their new apps at AndAppStore. As a result of this we get more users (and thus more advertising revenue), and more deals for custom versions, and so to us it doesn't make sense to reduce the amount of money a developer gets from app sales by taking a slice of it.
