It is a bit strange that an ambitious company like Google doesn't have the needed resources to launch products internationally. It leads to bad user experience when consumers buy a crippled product on false pretense. Other examples are missing paid apps in some countries on Android Market and the use of alien currencies on Android Market. It is not exactly new ground, other companies have succeeded in this area, cough *pple cough.
