I've removed the gears off-line storage from 
http://wtp2.appspot.com/mobile/mobile.htm
as it did not achieve much that the browser cache did not + browser
still
has to be online to get map tiles.

At the same time I have added HTML5 geolocation support so that the
page works
in Fennec ( a bit).
