Developers tend to want to see proof of demand before listing on alternative markets, so the best thing to do would be directly contact the developer.
We (at AndAppStore) are always happy to get developer feedback, so if a developer gives you a reason for not listing with us I'd be happy to discuss those with them so feel free to point them in my direction.
