Speaking for me, I would not buy a smartphone without keyboard, so my choice is clear. No keyboard => no G2 >From real-world experience I'd like to add this info for you: cyanogen is very nice, it has a lot of features that are a simple must-have for a smartphone and don't work on the standard edition, _but_ be prepared it has quite some stability issues with pure phone calls (interestingly not with other features).
