As with most decisions the important part of the question is: what do _you_
want to do with it? Speaking for me, I would not buy a smartphone without
keyboard, so my choice is clear. No keyboard => no G2

cyanogen is very nice, it has a lot of features that are a simple must-have
for a smartphone and don't work on the standard edition, _but_ be prepared it
has quite some stability issues with pure phone calls (interestingly not with
other features). Honestly I cannot understand why the guy cares so much for
latest pics and gadgets but not for stable call management ...
