Currently when you edit an appointment's date AND/OR time you use those little 'plus' and 'minus' controls to change: 'date', 'month', 'year'; and 'hour', 'minute'. This is very laborious and hugely sub- optimal for several reasons:
DATE - I would expect to see a mini calendar so I can just tap the correct date (or hit > or < to change months or years). At present I have to tap the '+' sign 7 times if I want to move an appointment by one week, 14 times if i want to move it by two weeks, etc. Its very slow and prone to error. >>A mini calendar would be easy, one or two click and done.<< TIME - same problem but very much worse. If an appointment is on the half-hour, you may have to hit '+' as many as 30 times (to get +30 minutes). >>Why not use a 'roller wheel' like iphone that just have, for minutes, 5, 10, >>15, 20, 25, 30, etc. surely 5 minutes is sufficient granularity for most, >>noone ever wants to make an appoiuntment at 3.22 do they?<< -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
