So absolutely nothing was changed on any of those for 2.1 and/or the N1? That is somewhat hard to believe. (Possible, but it seems unlikely, excepting dbus perhaps.) The good news is, if thats true it is a simple matter for someone (JBQ?) to create the necessary tags. (A lesser violation than no code at all, but still an issue -- the ACTUAL sources need to be available, not "its in there somewhere, good luck".)
http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/external/dbus.git;a=summary - no tags for 2.0, no changes since "2009-11-15 Jean-Baptiste... merge from eclair" http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/external/wpa_supplicant.git;a=summary- same http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/external/bluetooth/bluez.git;a=summary- "eclair snapshot" On Fri, Jan 8, 2010 at 8:40 AM, Mark Murphy <[email protected]> wrote: > Disconnect wrote: > > SDK is disappointing, since they keep claiming to do better "next time". > > > > The real problem is the GPL violations - kernel source is out, but > > bluez, wpasupplicant, dbus, etc are all binary only... > > Source code to BlueZ is here: > > > http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/external/bluetooth/bluez.git;a=tree > > Source code to wpa_supplicant is here: > > > http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/external/wpa_supplicant.git;a=tree > > Source code to dbus is here: > > http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/external/dbus.git;a=tree > > If you feel that this source code is not the correct source code, please > write up an analysis somewhere and post a link. > > -- > Mark Murphy (a Commons Guy) > http://commonsware.com | http://twitter.com/commonsguy > > Warescription: Three Android Books, Plus Updates, $35/Year > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Android Discuss" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]<android-discuss%[email protected]> > . > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/android-discuss?hl=en. > > > >--
