This was certainly bound to happen, it really can't be the first time
it has either.

It will be interesting to see if the originator has a case. This is a
"look and feel" issue, one that has failed in past litigation with
other programs. The aCar app certainly hasn't copied any of the
original code but has copied an idea. Can a "look and feel" be
copyrighted? I'm guessing there is no patent filed by the appcubby
developer.
