Actually -doing- it results in this page: http://groups.google.com/groups/search?hl=en&scoring=d&filter=0&enc_author=sawEAxIAAABlndCifLoG1HiXsBQfkWHi8rhlH0Pnl47z4AZhN98BFgwhich has no spam in all 7 pages. (Although there is a "why are my posts being deleted" thread that I didn't look into.)
