(I think we're dealing with another side of a common android problem - if you were good enough to do it you'd already work at google. So the googs are super overworked and the quality suffers -well- below the worst that outside contributors would provide. In this case, it results in moderation dumps that include spam, random bans without feedback or recourse - ask Al Sutton about that, but not on this list cuz he won't see it - and so forth..)
