<rant> WE are not steering Android in any way. Google is doing that with the help/advice/commands of the handset manufacturers/operators and maybe also OHA members. The guys and girls who are reading these discussion groups are not in a position to steer anything anyway (as far as I know at least.. I know that they would really really want to make things better if they could but it seems it's out of their hands) - all the big decisions are made by higher ups who do these based on business reasons (operator and manufacturer deals etc..).
