It also doesn't have the Google apps (Market, Mail, Maps, etc., etc., etc.) by default (although from what I remember there is a legally-dubious hack to get them).
And from the review at http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archives/2010/02/archos-5-internet-tablet-with-android-review-part-2.php it would appear the firmware still is pretty unstable (see the section titled "Bugs").
