"Android 2.1" does not. Android is an open source OS; WMA is a proprietary codec. I would imagine it violates Microsoft licenses to distribute an open source WMA codec. Some device manufacturers have licensed Windows Media codecs for Android and include them on their devices. So, some devices will be able to play WMA files, others will not. -- Mark Murphy (a Commons Guy) http://commonsware.com Android App Developer Books: http://commonsware.com/books.html -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
