I have both the HTC Magic (MyTouch/Google ION) and a Droid and find the voice quality as good as or superior to my previous device, a Motorola Razr. They are both superior to the iPhone, at least in my opinion as well. The Droid has an amazingly loud ringer, if set on the top volume, it can be heard many rooms away. The HTC Magic has less volume but still fairly good. I don't believe I've ever missed a call. I'm on At&T with the Magic and Verizon with the Droid.
