Yes, i'm not explaining this correctly. Ok, so you got a htc hero, and there is no 2.1 at all, and google see this and think, mm i would be great if we have the same seamless os version management as apple because the users seem to be happy and our users dont. And says, ok the following android updates (2.4, 2.5, and so on) will be available for every phone, and the customizations like htc sense will be applications in the top of the android system, not like now, where htc sense is tight integrated with android.
But my question is, how can google push a new version (suppouse 2.3 for example) for every phone if there are propietary drivers for each model of phone? Will google develop this drivers so everyone in the world will get the update at the same time forgetting the manufacturer?
