It's a bit severe just to dump the old DNS name without using a redirect. Makes me wonder if the company would ditch all support for older versions of the product when a new version is released.
To me it seems to be a tablet based on "WeTab OS" (which seems to be a vendor specific Linux distribution). Apart from the odd mention of Android in their sales literature I don't really see it as relevant.
