Kind of an apples and oranges comparison you've got there given the OS design, 
physical dimensions, and target audience (many of whom are looking to get away 
from wired ethernet and would buy the iPads keyboard dock if they wanted a 
keyboard).

At the end of the day it doesn't come down to technical specs, it's all about 
user experience, and a number of people are finding they're as productive (if 
not more so) than they are on their netbook, and one guy from EMC has even 
thinks that after trying it he'll be unlikely to buy any more desktops or 
laptops

 but personally I can't see myself doing dev on an iPad any time soon :).
