I think I've heard from a few guys at G2One-now-SpringSource-now-VMWare that
Groovy can run on the Android, but I've got no details.

On the device? Java.

The Eclipse preview thingy is assisted by Groovy, which is another use
for it (besides layoutopt, as Mr. Guy mentioned).
