Brightstar claim that the "VAT+tax" should cover the fees that needs to be paid to custom when sending something internationaly. But i was forced to pay this anyway when i received my package because no "VAT+tax" had been paid by the sender.
If this fee had been paid there would exist a receipt, but when asking for this receipt i get the response: "Sorry about your experience, however, the international tax charges are legitimate and legal. Have a great life." /Mats On May 25, 3:34 am, "Ph.T" <[email protected]> wrote: > . how do they know when you've bought internat'ly ? > that reminds of when Americans can buy smartdrugs online, > but then they get confiscated by usa customs . > . maybe they're referring to the sort of extra taxes > that are incurred by dealing with Internationals? > . every time I buy computer gear, > they make me promise not to share it with Internat's; > Apple had to switch cpu's because > the power pc would give the enemy supercomputers? > . imagine Brightstar is just as pissed off as you, > that might very well be the case ! > > > > On Mon, May 24, 2010 at 5:45 AM, WlanMats <[email protected]> wrote: > > I ordered a Dev Phone 2 and i am happy with it, from a technical point > > of view. > > > But it is very irritating that i paid plenty of money for "VAT+tax" > > and it turns out that this money is kept by Google/Brightstar.
