Some countries won't allow foreign businesses to set up shop in their
borders. I've been selling products for years using third party
esellers who take care of the financial transactions. Some of my
customers especially in India want to buy from an Indian company but to
so far no Indian eseller company has come forth offering to do
business. However the division of Digital River I use can list the
prices in foreign exchange if the customer wants it. So I'm using them
to sell one of my Android apps too though coming up with a DRM model for
these customers is a bit of a challenge. In many of these countries
people swap out SIM cards on a regular basis which means the license
file gets lost. Seems that none of the alternative markets were aware
of that at least looking at their sample code or methods.

Genius, and this is IMHO major fault of Google. They are supporting piracy
by not allowing to majority of the world to buy legally on the Android
Market.
