I love the Google navigation application on the Milestone with Android 2.1 and I have the car dock but I have a problem. When the phone is in the dock, it happens often that some of the car vibration are causing the screen to rotate and then come back to normal in a really short moment (< 1sec). This is causing the navigation app to freeze for a moment. It also does the same when only the car interface is shown. I also use Trapster and this app is even often crashing after a few rotations.
In conclusion this problem makes the phone completely unusable with the car dock. My solution was to set auto-rotation to "off" in my Profile Settings application when connected to the car dock. However this setting in not correctly changed by Profile Settings. Is anyone using the car dock and do you also have this problem?
