I don't really see this as an issue.  Yes, the Nexus One is a nice
device.  (I have one.)  But the Droid Incredible is even better.  So
are the Galaxy S and (if you want something really big) the Droid X.

Google created the Nexus One to push the hardware forward and show
what an Android phone could be.  They succeeded.  With new phones
coming out on a weekly basis and active competition between HTC,
Motorola, and Samsung, they don't need to do a Nexus Two.  The market
already has plenty of momentum and is advancing quickly without them
needing to push it further.
