You know - I am the Android's biggest fan. I got my evo on its release date and never looked back at my old iPhone.
However I have to say that the android is weak in 3 areas: The phone book - I always thought iPhone contact management was weak but android is very poor as well. And there is not a good one on the app market. Why can't anyone make a contact manager like I used to have on my old treo - remembers recently add numbers, in the list every record displays with a phone number next to it, and it is easy to add new ones and search for old ones. Photo manager - again this is basically nonexistent on the android and nothing in the market. Finally the calendar is weak. Everything else is great but those 3 are the mist fundamental tasks. Honorable mention for weakest functionality has to go to text messaging and email. But at least you can find good replacements on the android market. I hope these issues are fixed if and when froyo is ever released for the evo. Basically, the person read a CNN story and had an opinion about it. It's just a blog from a generalist.
