These vendors need to sell devices and one must have an App-Store client nowadays. Keep in mind these devices are still becoming available as we speak to many countries, so its up to you if you decide to distribute your app via another channel and lose sales or promote & market your product to the world. It's normal business practice to not sell your product via a single distributor for the whole world. Others have better reach while others may have a very good footprint in x countries as A.M does have in 9.
A descent app is averaging 5-10 sales per day via SlideME and we're seeing a huge growth with the added support for PayPal, that we have not even formally announced yet. Suggest you wait and see for yourself before you jump to conclusions. You should be thinking first how to market and promote your product and not blame the lack of sales only upon your distributor, cause sooner or later a better marketed similar app will stomp you. My 2 cents worth, create awareness while & however you can. George -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
