Hi,

I am distributing an app outside of the market, directly from my website.

A Samsung Captivate user reported that he couldn't install it, and that he had
no Settings/Applications/Unknown Sources option.

Then I found that this seems to be AT&T specific:

Is this correct? Are all AT&T Android devices "market-locked"?

If yes, how do alternative stores deal with this issue?
