The system we use at AndAppStore seems quite popular; We let developers set prices in USD, EUR, or GBP and users get to pick their currency of choice. The system is backed by PayPal so the developer can choose to keep the money in that currency or take a hit when they decide to convert from one into their native currency. Google would, of course, have to expand the number currencies, but given the rate at which Market is developing that shouldn't be too hard to factor in.
