Hi all, I have done a handful of smaller Android applications using the Java API, and while they are good and all, they obviously only run on the Droid. For deep integration into the devices APIs I can see why this is more of a necessity, but I am curious if others on this list are venturing into some of the recent web frameworks that are geared specifically towards handheld devices.
I recently ventured into SenchaTouch and wrote a small web app for my Droid that is documented via this article: http://www.ibmsystemsmag.com/ibmi/enewsletterexclusive/35121p1.aspx The "app" I created is www.ChattyGabby.com (only works in HTML5 browsers - Chrome and Safari) and aims to see how close a web app can come to look and feel like a native app. Check it out and let me know your thoughts, Aaron Bartell www.MowYourLawn.com/blog www.OpenRPGUI.com www.SoftwareSavesLives.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
