What I want to see is the official Android market support subscription payments. This buy-once-support-forever model is impossible for the developer to profit from. The only way to increase profit is to increase sales and that is just not sustainable. The subscription model is by far the best way for the average developer to support and improve an application. Until then, I'm going to wait it out.
As for third party solutions, it seems to me the market terms forbid such a thing unless you have a for pay website that exists outside Android. Ads are another painful thing. The quality of the typical mobile ads are dismal. I would rather just give my app away for free than offer the low quality and somewhat disturbing scam type ads that are available on most networks. -John Coryat -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
