I'm with John on this one.

I'd like a tablet operating system that makes sense for more
horsepower.

But of course, I would want my apps to run with little or no
modification.

Right now, I don't see myself as a tablet user. For one thing, I'm not
really "on the go" that much. But the other is how much "real work"
could I do on a tablet. I could do a lot of internet marketing and
communication on one, but not much software development.

If there is a tablet that I can actually develop Android applications
on, that could be useful. For now, that might mean a Windows 7 tablet,
or a dual boot Android and Windows 7 would be even better. It would be
worth getting if it were powerful enough to dock and use as my primary
computer as well.

I would probably use a tablet instead of a netbook. I have an early ASUS eeePC which I take on trips but a tablet might be handier. Of course if I just want to check email and check the Internet my Android phone is fine for that. But I wouldn't want to enter anymore than a short reply to an email with the phone. I'm planning on getting a cheap tablet just to see what my customers with them are experiencing.
