Me too. :( I had the same problem with the 2.2.2 update: it took about 4 tries (with roughly a week of waiting after each try before it would offer me the update again) before I finally managed to get it installed. What finally worked was this: when it told me the update was ready, I first manually rebooted. Then when it came up, it again offered me the chance to install the update, and that worked.
