I never added my phone number there. I had my phone number in my Google Checkout account information, but I NEVER included my phone number in the Developer Console. I was able to clear my phone number from my account info now since the field is now labeled "optional". I wonder if that's something new or a change in their TOS or Privacy Policy that was buried in pages and pages of information that no one ever reads. lol
