Guys, I've been given a strong hint that today is the day at IO where Market announcements/information will start to flow. From what I've heard there's some useful stuff coming (e.g. improved tablet app discovery), so hopefully it'll go some way to addressing some of the current issues.
If what I've been told comes true then it might be worth giving the Market team some slack for a week or two so they can get this suff delivered and debug any issues with the live environment. Yes, it's a pain in the behind to have Market acting flakey, but if they can concentrate on delivering the improvements and get some support from us by not jumping on any issue we see in the next few days or so, then I'm pretty sure we'll all benefit from the improved user experience.
