They will share the info at a time when they want to. I chose to email out to the list as a heads up in case people were undecided about watching the streams.
I very much doubt I was told anything that won't be public knowledge in a few hours time, I just had the advantage of being in the right place at the right time to speak to the right person who was in the right frame of mind, and if I worked for Google I'd probably get into some deep shizzle for posting anything on this list prior to the public announcements.
