Samsung needs to update the tab to 3.0 or better. I have users complain
about my apps filling the screen too but if you look up threads and some
of the docs there is a "hint" that some company sort of broke the rules
when it comes to larger screens. Their emulator image also only had the
Android API so if a developer had an app that used the Google API it
wouldn't install.
Of course right now if you have an app that is portrait in orientation
the screens will flip upside down on Google's 3.0 and up emulators.
Sorta hard to work with that too. Apparently it has something to do
with the way the sensor works and they fixed it but the fix didn't make
it into the last update. Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

I grabbed it for my galaxy tab, but the interface is pretty broken - no
rotation, doesn't expand to fill the screen, etc. Works great on the g2, but
I was hoping to use it on the tab - its summer and the tab spends a lot of
time in a (horizontal) car dock in the jeeep. I need something exactly like
this app to make sure I'm not about to get soaked with the top off :)
(Doesn't compare to hiding from tornadoes, but still..)
FYI I'd be happy to do testing with the tab if you wanted to try to resolve
the ui issues..

reliable.
Next week the app should cross the 2,000,000 download mark. Again, what
does that mean? Nothing really. The important statistic to me is over
575,000 people used the app nearly 7,000,000 times in the last 30 days. One
was from Joplin, MO who said the app may have helped keep his family out of
harm's way (see below). I wonder if "Angry Birds" ever got an e-mail like
that?

Thank you so much for having this app available.
Our town was hit by an EF-5 tornado four days ago. On leaving our
son's high school graduation ceremony, I noted that the sky didn't
look right, and it was starting to rain. My view of the horizon was
blocked by buildings. I pulled up your app and saw a large red radar
signal about several miles in size moving directly toward us.
We we able to get to safety (not knowing that it was a tornado, but
was definitely something we wanted to be away from). Within a half an
hour the tornado wiped out about a third of our town. Thank you for
providing us with the information to be able to act quickly.
