In the Androidmanifest.xml put "Black" (or White) in the following
line:

android:theme="@android:style/Theme.Black.NoTitleBar.Fullscreen"

and in your code put WHITE (or BLACK) in the following line:

paint.setColor(Color.WHITE);

or if you are using OpenGL just display color: 0,0,0 or 1,1,1
