I can give you a first hand one;

When we owned AndAppStore we initially used AdSense, then, after a year or so,
we got an email saying the account was suspended and we wouldn't be getting any
more money from them. I asked for a reason why and was told "We'd breached
Adsense policy", and that was it. Google refused to give any details of what
policy we'd allegedly broken, no details of what we could do to rectify it, and
definitely no proof we'd actually done anything wrong.

We switched to AdMob, and, shortly after the Google purchase of AdMob went
through, guess what?, yup. Account suspended, no specifics of why, and again no
proof we'd actually done anything wrong.

That was the point we gave up on trying to use adverts as a source of income
due to the unacceptable risk of the income going from a reasonable sum to zero
overnight without any solid reason of proof of breach of contract, and why,
when combined with poor income from app sales, we pulled back from developing
standalone apps for Market and moved towards helping larger companies develop
their apps and services.

And I know I'm not alone in having a story like this.

Al.
