My experience with MobClix has been lukewarm at best. To be fair, I was focusing on fullscreen/interstitial ads, and that market is pretty thin for Android (best bets are MobClix and ivdopia for those that are interested).
MobClix promises a good game, but for me they've failed on a few levels: 1. Fill Rate. For fullscreen/interstitial their fill rate BLOWS. ivdopia is much better here, but it does seem that MobClix has better eCPM when you can actually get an ad served. 2. Ad compatibility. MobClix isn't very good at policing the ads that they aggregate and serve. Consequently, many (most) of the rich media ads that I try to serve have problems on at least some Android devices. Recently one of their techs told me that this is often caused by flash ads being served. The result is a big black screen, sometimes associated audio, and a crappy looking page of xml afterwards for some users. Yuck. 3. Payouts. MobClix has the unenviable job of trying to be the middleman for dozens of ad networks and often small time devs upset about not getting their $250 for 3-6 months. Haven't gotten this far with them yet, but google it, there's plenty of discussion. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
