HI, How can i interface the Logitech web cam with the exiting Android Phone( I am trying to root the nexus S ) and playing around with android camera framework.I have to make the custom zimage (wihch I could do) but have to provide the functionality that the camera view finder by default will take the view from the web cam and not by the camera hw of the phone.Any pointer to this , where to start and how to proceed.I think I should be studying the camera architecture first , like how the raw data is passed from the camera sensor to the camera application(i think camera.apk) via V4l2 interface. Plz provide the direction.Am i going right? Rgds and thanks, softy
