Hi Predeep!
I have similar needs to you on Android 3. I have set this on application tag into the AndroidManifrest.xml: android: largeHeap = "true" I'm not sure what it does, but I think it do what you say. I have not tried to set it to false, but I think that works. In some of the older forum question the limit of 16-24mb was mentioned. Is the same valid for Android 3 onwards? As we are developing an enterprise level application [offline] for tablets with RAM 512+mb, is there a way to change the hard limit exposed. Is there some option similar to java's -mx, -ms that can be used? thanks pradeep -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
