Hello Pradep!I think that the approach I want to have, not benefits. I simply keep account of possible memory leaks. If you use images, handle, etc.. and Recyce it.
I always make sure not to have an increase in the use of memory that I can not control. I do not create problems. I know how much memory available, it will allow me to do better or worse the application. So, if a model prepares more memory, more power for user, but should not be my problem. With Android there are already too many problems. You may not get full of incorrect orquestionable choices by Google or the producers. I think so. I hope i am not in error. To understand : "Some tablets may actually give you up to 256MByte." Is there way to know how much memory a tablet is allowing? Is it through documentation or can we run some kind of command/utility to know this? Is gaining root access can help in checking and altering the same? - pradeep On Nov 20, 8:55 am, Streets Of Boston <[email protected]> wrote: > Nope, no such options, it's all governed by the operating system. > As g palmeri stated earlier, setting android: largeHeap = "true" may give > your app more memory.
