In our app "Radar Now!" we have a feature where support can ban a user from
using the app. The idea is if a user is bitterly unhappy with the app and
sends us hate mail or leaves negative comments in the market, we can just
stop the user from ever successfully running the app again. They might
never use the app again but they also might just be terminal whiners. A
hard reset would be required to bypass this restriction. It's a bit tricky
to link a market comment with the actual user but if they communicated by
e-mail with a complaint, it's pretty simple.

I must say that whenever I use it, I get a certain satisfaction from being
able to remotely kill off a pest.
