Ford yeah you have a point, but that's opinion about intangible good not
bad. As for Apple well it's not about stylus vs touch. Not having a
stylus is the currently bad part about multi-touch "currently
capacitive" that will change and most of the multi-touch gestures were
always obvious as is the ipad shape, basically a screen.

In fact large stylus's was the biggest let down about my xperia
neo, before my N95 I had an xda2s and before that an a920. Both were far
faster for typing because with a small plastic tip you always hit the
right button even with the smaller on screen keyboards effortlessly. I
think the xda was a bit more annoying because they tried to make it
work with fingers too.

Actually my father who has been dealing with touchscreens for almost
as long as the 30 years they have been around is selling a new infra-red
multi-touch for large screens which not only detects touches of less
than a milimetre but also the size of the touch. It's awesome. I can't
wait for that to migrate, if the bezel can be reduced enough.
