By far the biggest number of contributors seem to be at the $100 ($95 and
$99) "get a console" level.  I thin ka lot of the backers just see this as
"a way to get a console cheap."  There are two issues related to this.  The
first is that they limited the number of $95 ones to a thousand, then came
back and offered an unlimited number at $99 which smells pretty funny to me.

The second is, by the time all costs of building this are factored in, i
have my doubts as to what sort of hardware they can produce at that price
point. Keep in mind that XBox 630 and PS3 launched at 5 to 7 times that
price, and were sold at a loss.
