Id also love someone to explain to me why this isn't just a Google TV <http://www.google.com/tv/>

If you do a bit of searching, you'll find a number of Android-based set-top boxes in the $100 range retail. This makes it at least POTENTIALLY possible to hit that price point, though the specs of the Ouya are higher; of course the $100 price I'm talking about is a retail price, meaning wholesale is probably more like $75. Meaning that they are still making a profit at $75. And $25 can buy you a lot of components.

The big difference between this console and a Google TV are the hardware specs: It's game-oriented, with a Tegra 3 and a 4-way CPU.

And yes, it's HARD to get hardware out at a particular price point, so it could fail. If it does, that might be the beginning of the end of Kickstarter in the hardware space.

Curious, though: Why all the hate? You've made your point, but you keep sending more supporting arguments.
