I use several GO products, notably Launcher EX, SMS Pro, etc, which I love, and from time to time I get a notification on my Galaxy S3 that there are X number of app updates waiting for me via the GO market. These notifications have a link to the Play store, where inevitably, I see that either I already have the update, or the one they are telling me is the latest one is NOT the latest one at all. I repeatedly get one for Android Music, for example, which according to the Play Store, was last updated August 24, 2012, and that's the one I have. Weird.

Since these notifications are so wonderfully UNhelpful, is there any way to turn them off short of not using the products?

TIA
